Possible Extension for $8000 Homebuyers Tax Credit

The Senate passed an extension of the homebuyers tax credit (subject to the House’s approval of the same) that will allow home buyers who were in escrow by the April 30th deadline. The proposed extension would give those home owners an extension of the June 30th deadline to close to September.
